He Hasn’t Left You
Romans 8:28 New King James Version
28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Where Is He?
Each day we are faced with many different circumstances. Some good and some not so good. It often seems when things are not so good they last a lot longer than we would like them too. When they drag on and on, we tend to wonder where God is and why He hasn’t shown up to take care of what’s happening.
Then we start to feel like He doesn’t care. We tell ourselves that God has forgotten about us and that this “thing” will never end.
It’s Not True
It’s funny how quickly we can convince ourselves that God doesn’t care and isn’t around when we have had evidence in our own lives with different circumstances that say that isn’t true.
The Israelites
Just like the Israelites. God parted the Red Sea right before their very eyes. They walked across on dry ground. On each side of them was a wall of water. He gave them food out of nowhere every single day. Yet, after all of that, when they became discouraged in the wilderness they complained and wanted to go back to the slavery in Egypt.
Don’t allow yourself to become discouraged in your wilderness today. God has not left or forgotten about you. He has a plan for you and even if it doesn’t seem like it right now, He is working all things out for your good.
Needs Not Wants!
We just have to remember the things that are best for us are not always the things we want and have been praying for. Can you trust God even when it’s not what you want?
Deuteronomy 31:6, Exodus 14, Isaiah 55:8-9
**Lord, help me to remember that You really do work all things out for my good, that Your ways are better, and much greater than my ways. Thank You for never leaving me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
