How Often? 

2 Peter 3:9 New King James Version

9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

How often?

How often do we make it a point to pray for the lost? I don’t just mean the lost people we know. Every lost  person in the entire world? 

I heard a woman say once that she would rather pray really big prayers and get some of it then pray one small prayer and get all of it. 

My Prayer

Many years ago, after I heard that I found myself in my prayer closet praying for my husband. He was an addict at the time, and to say we were going through a difficult time would be an understatement. While in there praying it was like the Lord brought those words back to my mind and gave me an idea. Why not pray for every single addict in the whole world be saved and delivered? 

Why not? 

If we truly believe that God is who He says He is, and if we truly believe that He can and will do anything for anyone why wouldn’t we pray such big prayers? His word says that it is not His will that any man should perish. Knowing that we can be sure what we are praying is in line with His will. 

I prayed that prayer for a few years and when it comes to mind now I still pray it. I’m sure I wasn’t the only person praying such big bold prayers, but  I can say I’ve seen a difference in our small area where addiction is concerned. 

Pray the big prayer! Pray for everyone in the whole world to be saved, for them to know Jesus as their personal Savior! 

**Lord thank You for reminding me that we can pray big prayers. That You want us to pray those big prayers! I ask for the boldness to do so. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.**
