You have control
Philippians 4:8
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
Random Thoughts
Did you know that the devil cannot read your thoughts? God can. He knows all of our thoughts, but the enemy does not. It’s surprising how many people don’t know that. He can, however, place little (or even really big) thoughts into our minds in hopes of getting our attention and throwing us off track.
He’s Watching You
When he does these things, He’s always waiting and watching to see how we react. The enemy reads our facial expressions, our body language, even our tone of voice to see if what he said got even the smallest rise out of us. You can bet if he thinks it worked the devil will keep at it, because his sole mission is to steal, kill and destroy.
Ask God
A bad thought, now and then, about anyone or anything does not mean you are not saved. If those thoughts are a constant in your life I would get into serious prayer and ask God to reveal to you what the deal is. Maybe there’s a little unforgiveness, maybe some disobedience, but there’s never anything the Lord won’t help you to make right, if you are willing.
You Have Control
Sometimes we have many of those types of thoughts because the enemy see’s he can cause chaos with them. Don’t let him use you. Take hold of every single thought that comes into your mind. Just because it comes to mind doesn’t mean it has to stay there. You are in control of that.

**Lord, thank you for giving me the power to choose my own thoughts. God, I pray that you remind me to think on things that are good and things that are pleasing to You Lord. Help me to take every single thought captive and throw it out if it is not good. In Jesus name I pray, Amen! **
