He is faithful

2 Timothy 2:13

13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.

To be totally honest I have never seen this scripture, but I know it to be 100% true. He does remain faithful through everything. 

Letting God Down

If we were to sit back and really think about all the times we have let God down. All the times we didn’t do what we said we would, or all the times He quickened us to do something, and we ignored it. He remained faithful to us through it all. 

There were times when I ran so far away from God I didn’t even know if He could see me in those bad places, but He never left me. There were times when I would yell and scream at God, because even after serving Him, I found myself in the most awful place in life, He still forgave me and fulfilled the promise He gave to me. 

His faithfulness never depends on who we are, what we can do or even if we have praying parents or not. It’s who He is. 

Think Back

Today take a little while and just think back to all that He has done. Every single time He had every reason to turn away from you and didn’t. He is faithful. Think about every promise you know in His word that He has kept with you even when you were living far from His word. 

Deuteronomy 31:6, 1 John 1:9, 2 Corinthians 1:20

**God, thank You for never leaving me, even when I gave You every reason to. Thank You for being who You are. Please forgive me for the times I have not remained faithful to You and help me to do better. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
