Let Go

Matthew 11:28-29

28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

You Can’t Do It All

Did you know you don’t have to do it all.  You don’t have to be the strong one all of the time. You don’t have to be the one who keeps it together for everyone else while it feels like you are dying inside. 

He Is Our Help

God is our ever-present help in times of trouble He has sent His Holy Spirit to comfort you during times of distress. All you have to do is ask for His help and do what He leads you to.

Life has taught us that we have to carry the burden on our own, but Jesus died so we wouldn’t have to.  There is only one catch. You have to let go of the things you are holding onto that are weighing you down.

What’s The Cost?

You are not responsible for the emotions of others. You are not responsible for their actions and the consequences they face because of them. It may break your heart to see them where they are but is it worth the cost of your own soul? Your own peace? 

Seek Him First

Seek God and His ways first, doing so will help you see that He is the only one who can truly take care of all the things you have tried to fix in your own strength. We were never meant to carry all the things we choose to take on. We were only meant to trust God to handle everything His way and in His time.

**Lord thank You for never leaving me. God, please help me today to let go of all I have been holding onto. Open my spiritual eyes to see the truth and to feel your presence. I ask that You flood me with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
