Things are changing
Philippians 1:9-11
9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, 10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, 11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
We are, or at least we should be, constantly growing and changing in our walk with the Lord. He is always showing us new and better ways to handle things.
In order to step into the new things God has for us we have to allow that change to take place in our lives.
Spiritual Growth
I am not in the same place I was five years ago. To be honest I am not in the same place I was just one year ago, and you shouldn’t be either.
There are so many things God wants to teach us on a daily basis, but we have to be open to receive those things in order for growth to take place. We have to swallow our pride and realize we don’t know everything, and all of our ways aren’t exactly right.
Each day there is something new we could be working on to further our spiritual growth. Someone get on your nerves or you don’t like the way they do things? Pray about it. In my experience God will change you before He changes them.
Study His Word
We have been conditioned by this world to believe that what we think and believe is the truth, but God’s word is the only truth.
Which is why it is so important to take the time to dig in and study. Don’t just read the scriptures, but write them down, think about how they apply to your own life and then actually apply it to your life and help others with what you have learned.
That’s what it’s all about.
We can never help others if we aren’t willing to receive correction from the Lord and grow in the areas, we may be a little immature in. Remember maturity has nothing to do with age and everything to do with your personal relationship with God.

**Lord thank You for Your correction in the areas I need to work on. Please help me to be of open mind to receive what You have for me so that I may mature in my walk with you and be in the right position to help others. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
