Walk Worthy of the Calling
Ephesians 4
4 I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Walk The Walk
Are we living our lives by the scripture? Is our walk worthy of the calling we have been given?
We can not live in peace and unity with others if we are constantly angry, arguing and pointing fingers at one another for everything.
There are billions of people in the world. Billions! You will not like all of them. You won’t agree with all of them. But, if you carry around the title of a “Christian” then you are supposed to be humble, gentle, kind, patient, merciful and forgiving. That is what God’s word says.
It doesn’t say that we are supposed to walk around being mad or offended all the time. As a matter of fact it tells us that it is best for us to overlook offenses and to continuously forgive.
Flesh & Blood
We do not wrestle against flesh and blood. That’s what Ephesians 6:12 says. What does that mean? It means when people hurt or offend you that it’s usually the devil trying to see if he can get a rise out of you.
And guess what? If you give in and have a hissy fit, you have told him all he needs to know about how to do it.
Most people don’t even realize when they are being used by the enemy. No one is exempt from his tricks. No one.
Romans 12:21 says do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Hold your peace, pray and let God handle things His way.

**Lord thank you for reminding me how I am supposed to act under pressure. I ask for discernment in all situations and the Godly wisdom to know how to apply what You have shown me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
