Are You Frustrated?

Exodus 40:34-35 New King James Version

34 Then the cloud covered the tabernacle of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting, because the cloud rested above it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

What Did He Do?

While reading today this scripture caught me off guard. I was wondering why Moses wouldn’t be able to go in. Did he do something wrong? I mean why else couldn’t he go in? We are supposed to want to be in the tabernacle especially when God’s filling the place with His glory right? 

Then I read my commentary and it said that Moses was not needed for his Priestley duties because God was in there doing His thing (paraphrased of course). 

Do We Leave It?

And that got me thinking, do we step out and let God do His thing? Or do we keep pushing trying to make things happen ourselves? God anoints us and gives us grace to do all kinds of works for Him, but when it’s time for Him to step in, those things leave us for that particular situation. Do we leave with it though? 

Do we take a step back and allow God to do what only He can do, or is it too hard for us to give up control even though everything is a mess? 

Are You Frustrated?

Are you frustrated right now? Are you trying to fix things or make things happen and it feels like you keep hitting a wall? Maybe you need to let God do His thing today and release what you have been trying to control or “fix” . 

Proverbs 3:5-6, 1 Samuel 3

**Lord thank You for reminding me that even though You anoint me and give me grace to do amazing things, there are still times I have to step back and let You work. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!**
