Come Into the Light

Psalm 18:28

28 For You will light my lamp;

The Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.

Don’t Be Ashamed

So many times, when we are going through a trial, we tend to keep it pushed deep down inside. Things we have faced and overcome in our past we are embarrassed of and try to hide it from others because we have allowed ourselves to believe they will think less of us if they know where we have been. 

Think of a physical wound. For a time, it needs to be covered, protected, but after a while it has to have a chance to heal out in the open. 

Healing

Our spiritual and emotional wounds are just the same. There is a time to keep things between you and God and maybe another person you trust. You take that time to stay in prayer and In His word and allow the Holy Ghost to minister to you. But there is also a time when you have to stand up and speak. 

You Are an Overcomer!

We are made overcomers by the word of our testimony. You might still be right in the middle of your open wound but there is someone out there that needs to know that they are not alone. They need to see that there is someone else going through the same things they are, and they need to see how you walk through it with God. 

In allowing others to see that in you, you are able to heal from the things that are trying to keep you hidden in shame. 

God Is with You!

You can stand up and say, it may look bad, but God is with me! It may hurt severely, but God will turn this all around for my good! 

Each trial we face is used to strengthen us and mature us in our walk with the Lord so we can help others find the way out as well. 

Proverbs 27:17, Romans 8:28, Ephesians 5:8

**God thank You for taking my pain and allowing me to help others with what I have been through. Thank You for never leaving me during my darkest times and reminding me that iron sharpens iron, we all need each other.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
