I Trust in God

I trust in God

I don’t trust people easily. Most people, at one point or another, will eventually let you down. They will do what pleases, and is best for, them pretty much every time. You may find someone who doesn’t do that often, but, again, eventually they will hurt you. A lot of times that hurt is unintentional, but the result of your emotions is the same.

Where Do I go?

Several years ago, I wasn’t in a great place emotionally. I remember talking to God about not being able to trust someone, or anyone for that matter, and it put me in a place I didn’t know how to get out of. If we are supposed to love and help people, but we are harboring not so great feelings because of the “trust issues” where do we go from there?

Trust in God

Put your trust in God. That is the answer I got from the Lord. We trust God for the outcome of every situation no matter who winds up being involved. Of course we should always use wisdom in dealing with others, but when you know, you are supposed to do something or help someone you have to rely on God for the outcome.

Seek His guidance on how to  handle the situation and you can be sure the outcome, no matter how it looks, will work out for your good.

Romans 8:28, Proverbs 3:5-6, Jeremiah 17:7-8

**God, thank You for reminding me that my trust is never in man, but always in You and Your abilities and Your goodness. I praise You for always working all things out for my good, even if I don’t immediately recognize it. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
