Is it too much?
Galatians 6:9-10
9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Let’s Be Honest
Let’s just be honest today. We get tired, worn out, totally over doing things all the time with what seems like nothing to show for it. Tired of volunteering for things because everyone has an opinion but yet no one wants to help. Worn out doing the same thing over and over, because no one else will step up and do what needs to be done. Going to Sunday school and waking up early every Sunday seems like such a chore sometimes. Don’t forget we are being totally honest.
Opportunities
Of course those opportunities are great, and such a privilege, but that doesn’t mean they don’t wear on you. There is nothing wrong with taking a break now and then, but God’s word says that He will strengthen you when you are weak and tired so you are able to keep going.
It’s Hard
I know it’s hard. You are tired, worn down, and frustrated wanting to quit because the pressure of doing and being everything feels like too much. Hold on. Don’t grow weary in doing good. For in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not lose heart.
Isaiah 40:29-31, Hebrews 12:1, 1 Corinthians 15:58
***Lord, thank You. Thank You for caring ,and loving me so much. Thank You for encouraging me when I don’t think I can keep going. I am thankful for every opportunity You bring to me Lord ,and I ask that you help me to see them as such. Please strengthen me during this time. Let me not be distracted by the opinions of others, but to follow Your leading. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.***
