Leave It to God

Jeremiah 10:23

23 O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself; It is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.

It’s Exhausting

Doing things on our own, in our own strength is absolutely exhausting. Trying to make things work in your favor, getting people to pay attention to you and do what you want them to do. It will wear you down quickly. 

Choices

When we try to do things on our own and leave God out it veers us off of the path, He meant for us to be on. The Lord gives us choices every single day. We can choose to continue on the path where we call all of the shots, or we can take some time, breathe and listen to where He is leading us to go. 

The Whole Picture

So many times, we lean on the opinions of others when choosing which direction to go in when the only opinion that really matters is God’s. That’s not to say others don’t mean well, but they don’t see the whole picture the way God does. He knows the end from the beginning and all the stuff in the middle. 

Don’t allow yourself to be weighed down by trying to control every situation and by trying to make things happen. Give total and complete control to God. His timing and His ways are perfect.
