Our Responsibility

Our Responsibility

Romans 15:1-2

15 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. 2 Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good to edification.

If we are mature Christians, it becomes our responsibility to help guide those who are not, in the right direction. While our words carry much weight, in the end, it is our actions that they learn from more than anything.

Blood On Your Hands

Each person is responsible for their own actions and cannot blame another. However, we will be held accountable by God if the things we have said or done cause another to fall for any reason. Meaning, their blood will be on our hands.

No Man Is Perfect

When we accept and carry the title of a Christian, especially adding some form of leadership to that title the eyes that are already upon us stare more intently. Looking, waiting for the slightest mistake. No man is perfect, no man is good, but we are all held accountable for our actions and should be mindful of how the Word tells us to handle others and the situations we face with them.

Proverbs 19:11, Mark 10:18, Romans 14:13

**Lord thank You for Godly knowledge and wisdom that guides me and allows me to help others. I pray that You never allow me to lead someone in the wrong direction or allow me to become a stumbling block for another by my words or actions. God, please keep me in a constant place of humbleness and never let me become numb to the spirit of conviction. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
