Prepare For Battle
Ephesians 6:10-18
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—
Don’t Be Fooled
This morning I woke up with a heavy feeling. I won’t get too political, but while I agree with the final result, I could not shake the feeling of what is about to come. I know that no matter who has the high title, God is in control, and I know what His word says. Don’t be fooled into thinking that the world is going to be a better place because of an election. It is not.
Read His Word
God’s word lays out specific instances that will come before the Lord’s return, and if you have not read up on it, I would suggest doing so. The internet and social media is not the proper place to look for true Biblical knowledge. That can only come from reading the Word for yourself.
Get Ready
The scripture I have today is much longer than usual, but I felt it necessary to provide somewhat of a warning. I don’t claim to be anyone or anything special, but I know what I feel in my spirit today. Prepare for battle. Get your house in order. Pray like you have never prayed before. The hurricane we went through was just a slight preview of what could be to come.
Luke 12:7-36, Hebrews 13:5, Philippians 4:11-13, John 10:10
**Lord, thank you for your protection, for Your warning. Give me discernment in every situation along with Your wisdom. Help me to stay quiet when I should and stand firm and speak loud when You would have me to! God I pray a shield of protection over my friends and family, over the church Lord as we begin to walk into what is about to come. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.**
