Death & Taxes
Have you ever heard the saying, only two things are certain death and taxes? Seems pretty funny to me, but is very true.
I’ve seen people try to get out of many things such as meetings, maybe a day of work, things like that, but the number of people I encounter every year that try to “cheat” on their taxes is really shocking.
I see people who really have more money than they know what to do with who try to hide several thousand dollars here and there just so they don’t have to pay taxes on it. There are those who work “under the table” and don’t pay taxes on that money either because they “can’t afford it”.
Your Godly Responsibility
Did you know there are several scriptures that talk about paying taxes and what our responsibilities are concerning the government? I think it would shock you to read. It sure shocked me and made me repent.
I encourage you to read today’s scriptures and ask God to show you where you stand and how to fix it if necessary. God will not bless money that is gained with disobedience.

**God thank you for opening my eyes to the things I need to repent for. I pray that the spirit of conviction in this area stays with me, so my actions are pleasing to You and leave me open for all of Your blessings. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
