Thank You Jesus
1 Thessalonians 5:18
18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
How often do we just thank God? Not because He answered our prayers or because something “special” happened, but because He is just so good.
Request Line
I think more often than not when we talk to Him it’s more like a request line. I mean sure we stand in the gap and pray for others, but even then, aren’t we just asking Him to do something?
He’s A Good God
God has been so good to each one of us. He is, has always been and always will be everything we need when we need it. Whether it’s a mother or father, a friend He is always there for us. He is our protector and wants nothing but good for us.
He created us so He would have someone to love. Isn’t that amazing?
Thank Him For Everything
What have we thanked Him for today?
It’s not wrong to thank Him for the physical things He provides for us. As a matter of fact, we should absolutely thank Him for those things, but what about when He gave you peace you didn’t even know to ask for? What about the protection He provided that you didn’t even know you needed until the storm passed?
He is a good God. Thank Him in all things and for all things, even the things you don’t see happening yet.
Psalm 107:1, Philippians 4:6, Colossians 4:2
**Lord thank You for everything. Thank You for the trials that make me into who You created me to be. Thank You for your peace and protection. Thank You for my family and my church family. Thank You for loving me Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.**
