What Has He Given You?

We have all been given different gifts and talents by God. We are all meant to use those gifts to glorify Him and bring others closer to Him. 

 The thing is we have to be patient. God’s timing for everything is perfect. He knows when we are ready to do what He has called us to do. Maybe He gave you a vision or a knowing. That is just the beginning. 

One Day

 About 7 years ago I was watching a Bible teacher on tv. She and her husband were sitting on a couch being interviewed. I felt this overwhelming knowing that said, “That’s going to be me one day.” I’ll be honest I said it out loud to my husband and he just looked at me like I was crazy. 

Now if you had known me 7 years ago, I was an absolute mess. I didn’t know anything, and I sure didn’t know how to tell if God was speaking to me or anything of that nature. 

It’s Time

Fast forward to a few years later. I’d forgotten all about that moment, after years of learning and teaching I woke up one morning with a heaviness. In all honesty I’d thought I might have said or done something wrong and needed to repent or apologize to someone. As I began to pray the Lord brought that very moment back to mind. 

Almost like He said, “it’s time”. 

He Said It

I’ll tell you the truth…. No one prophesied that over me in a revival. No one came to me and said I just know you are called to do this. Nope. God said here we go. 

Do I feel qualified? Not really. Are there people out there who think I’m not? Absolutely!  But the more I teach, the more I learn, and the more I learn the more I can help others know more about Him and His ways. 

Had I jumped headfirst into what the Lord showed me 7 years ago I would have fallen flat on my face and probably hurt a lot of people in the process. 

Preparation

Stay humble and teachable wherever you are. Be patient with God’s timing. I’m not on that interview couch yet. I haven’t had the opportunity to help millions of people yet. But one day, when He knows I’m ready I will. 

When He knows you are ready, He will put you right where He wants you! 

Jeremiah 29:11, Habakkuk 2:3, Isaiah 40:31

**Lord thank You for trusting me to do Your work. Thank You for every opportunity big and small. Thank you for every humbling experience that brings me closer to You. God, never let me forget that it’s all about You, not me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
