James 4:2
2 You lust and do not have. You murder and covet and cannot obtain. You fight and war. Yet you do not have because you do not ask.
He Cares
Did you know that God cares about everything you care about? I work at a farm implement and feed store. Every summer lots of our customers give us fresh fruits and vegetables. I recall one summer thinking how much I wanted some fresh green beans and squash. I did not say a word to anyone. A few days later I came back from lunch to find a bag of fresh garden green beans on my desk. A few days after that squash.
God knew what I wanted and because I said I wanted it to Him (and it was not something selfish). He gave it to me. I know fresh vegetables probably seem like something small or silly but like I said, God cares about everything you care about.
Don’t Hold Back
What are you holding back on? If you want something and your motives are pure, and in line with God’s will for your life, all you have to do is, ask. Yes, He knows what you need, but don’t you feel better when someone asks you and involves you in their life instead of only knowing from the sidelines?
Have Faith
Step out in faith. If you want to do something or have something, ask for it. Don’t frustrate or exhaust yourself trying to get things that are not meant for you. Ask God and follow His leading.

**Lord thank You for giving me the privilege of coming to you and asking for the things that I want. I trust You, that whatever the answer is will be for my good. Thank You for loving me, Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
