What Have You Tried?
Think of all the things you’ve tried in this world? Things to make you happy, or things to make you feel better when you are down. We search far and wide for people, places and things that might make us feel good, but we will never find anything that compares to how the spirit of God within us feels.
Each of us was created with a purpose and that purpose is to serve, praise and worship God. Until we make that our mission in life we will always feel like something is missing inside of us and we will search all over trying to find whatever we can to fill the void we have.
Choices
It doesn’t feel easy to choose the things of God. Not in this day and time. We are distracted by millions of things. We live in a time where work ethic is low, but vacation ethic is at the top of its game.
We are influenced to wake up at 4 am to spend outrageous amounts of money to travel all over just to escape our lives for a week or two, but told that being at church by 10am for Sunday School is too much and we deserve to rest.
Want To Feel Satisfied?
If you want to feel full, satisfied in your soul, there is only One thing that will do that for you. There is only One thing that can fill the void you feel deep inside and only One that can give you the rest you continue to seek. God.
Make the choice to serve Him not because you have to, but because He is good, and because it is what you were created to do. There is nothing else, no matter how far you search or how much money you spend, that can satisfy you deep inside like Him.

**Lord, thank You for loving me so much and being so good to me even when I didn’t realize it was You I was searching for. You are what I need, Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
