13 If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.
I Didn’t Deserve It
I often think about the life I lived before I gave my heart to the Lord. The things I did and the places I allowed myself to go. I don’t look back because I want to be there again. Far from it actually. When I look back, I see God’s faithfulness and protection when I didn’t even give Him a second thought.
There were many times I shouldn’t have made it out alive with some of the things I chose to do but each time God stepped in and rescued me. “He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself”. Such beautiful and powerful words.
We will fail God repeatedly throughout our lives. We will make bad and selfish choices and not bother to consult Him in major life decisions. There will be times even after we have given our heart to Him, we will do things we need saving from. But God will never leave nor forsake us.
What Kind of Love?
What kind of love remains constant and faithful even when it’s ignored, taken advantage of, and often forgotten? Only His love is that great and powerful.
Look back today at where He has brought you from. Think about all the times He showed up and pulled you out when He was the last thing on your mind. Thank Him for His goodness and faithfulness and His love that is greater than any love we could ever imagine.

**God thank You! Thank You for never leaving me even when I gave You every good reason to. Thank You for loving me and believing I was worth saving. Thank You for who You are, for your kindness and faithfulness to me! There are not enough words to express my gratitude for what You have done and who You are to me Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
