Confess To One Another

Confess To One Another

James 5:16

16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

I Messed Up

I’ll be honest. The scripture the Lord gave me this morning is specifically for me. I know it’s probably for someone else, but I needed it.

Why you might ask? Well, I was not a kind person to someone yesterday. I sure wasn’t. I got angry and frustrated and raised my voice at someone and spoke to them in a condescending way which was very disrespectful.

I could make excuses as to why I did it and to the rest of the world I would be completely justified because they were in the wrong, but I know better.

My actions caused me to find an altar and not only repent but ask God to search my heart and help me get out anything that shouldn’t be in there.

It’s Frustrating

Now I find this quite frustrating because I pray that prayer pretty regularly. I don’t want any ugliness in me but there it was yesterday, hiding in a crack somewhere and waiting to come out.

Confess Your Faults

This morning, I only share my faults because His word says that we are to confess our faults to one another so healing can take place, and we can move forward.

Please, take the time to dig into the scripture used today and allow God to search your  heart. Always confess your sins so that you may be healed in Jesus name.

Luke 6:43-45, Proverbs 23:7, Psalm 139:23-24

**Lord, thank You for your correction. Thank You for never leaving me when I make a mistake but bringing me back to where I should be. Help me to do better. Lord, I ask that You search my heart and cleanse me of any unrighteousness. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
