The Only Way

The Only Way

John 14:6

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Different Ideas

If you listen to the world long enough you will hear that there are those who believe there are many different ways to Heaven. Some religions believe you can confess your sins to a man in a box and that it will make you right in God’s eyes. Other religions leave out Jesus completely.

Our world today is full of the mindset of offense. It seems many believe that if there is something that offends them then the rest of the world should fall in line to make sure whatever they say, do, and believe should not go against what that particular person believes.

The Whole Truth

God’s word is the whole truth. There are things in it people won’t like because it goes against what they choose to believe and how they choose to live their life, but it doesn’t make it any less true just because others don’t want to believe it.

We want the loving and forgiving God, but we don’t want to sacrifice our fleshly wants to receive Him. God’s spirit will not dwell in an unclean vessel. Meaning if you choose to live your life in any way that goes against His word when you know better, there is a good chance Heaven won’t be where you go when you leave this world, unless you make some changes.

The Only Way

There is no other way to God except Jesus. That is not a matter of opinion that is the truth of God’s word whether you choose to believe it or not.  What are you choosing today?

Hebrews 10:26 , 1 Corinthians 6:19, John 14:150

**Lord thank You for the truth of Your word that always tells me the right way to go. Help me not to be distracted by all the noise of the world that tries to pull me into different directions. I want to stay focused on You and Your ways Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **

Oh goodness! This is good! The man in a box that some think dash can tell their sins too more than likely has more sins than they do. The God we repent to has no sin!

Choosing to live in sin is different than having a weak moment. We have to stay in the word and stay as close to God as we can to resist those fleshy desires. It is a daily struggle and getting saved is not just once and done. We have to work at it just like anything else we want to be successful with in life.
