God’s Promise

God’s Promise

John 10:10

10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Not From God

Anything that steals, kills or destroys is not from God. It doesn’t matter if it is stealing, killing or destroying your joy, peace, marriage, friendships, reputations if those three things are involved then you can be sure that it is not of God.

His word says that He has come so we may not only have life but have it more abundantly. Which means He has come that we may have a full, good life through Him. He has done and will continue to do His part but what is our part?

Do Your Part

See God can do absolutely anything but, what would we learn if we never had to play our part? We have to be willing to not only recognize when the enemy is near trying to steal, kill and destroy, but we have to stand up and say I see you and as far as it depends on me I will not allow it in Jesus name. You have more power than you realize.

We control what we choose to think and say. We also control the things we allow ourselves to do.

While the enemy tries every trick in the book to take every good thing God said was ours, he can only have what we give to him. I understand when you are under a spiritual attack and it feels like nothing is going right and your world is falling apart it might seem like the enemy is winning. But remember this is our guaranteed, already done promise from God that He came so we could have a life overflowing with good things from Him.

Choose to believe God’s promises to you today and remember that you have been given the power and authority to not only recognize what is going on, but to handle it God’s way.

James 4:8, Romans 8:28, Hebrews 3:14

**Lord, thankYou for reminding me that You have given me power and authority to cancel out the enemy. I ask that you give me spiritual discernment and Godly wisdom so I can not only recognize when the enemy is trying to work but know what to do with what I know. Thank You for never giving up on me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.**
