Salvation
Philippians 2:12
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
It’s Yours!
Your relationship with God is not dependent on what someone else does or does not do. We can go to the same church, grow up in the same house and hear the exact same sermons and still not see things the same way. Your salvation is just that YOURS. You have to depend on God and His Holy Spirit to guide you in every thought you think and decision you make.
There is no amount of “good works” that will get you into heaven. You can feed the homeless regularly and be the best person you know how to be, but if you have not given your life to God and choose to live by how His word says is right then all of that was for nothing as far as you are concerned.
No Substitutions
This world has replaced prayer with “good vibes “and the Holy Ghost with our own opinions, and don’t seem to see the difference. Read God’s word for yourself before making such decisions. Where you go when you leave this world depends on it. After your life on earth is over there is only one of two places you can go. One will be beautiful, and the other will be a very painful everlasting eternity.
God Loves You!
Every single soul is precious. God loves and cares about each and every person in this world. He may not love the things we choose to do but He still loves us. However, we have been given freewill. Meaning we are free to choose whatever type of life we want to live. But only one path, the narrow path leads to Heaven. God gave us the road map for that path but we have to choose to take it.
Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:8-9, Acts 2:21
**Lord thank You for reminding me that the choices to serve You is mine, and mine alone. Help me to stay determined to live a life that pleases You! God, I pray for all of those who are lost and don’t know You. I pray for their spiritual eyes to be opened and that You draw them into a close personal relationship with You. It is Your will that no man should perish, and I pray they see and make the change before it is too late. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
