Praise The Lord!
Psalm 34:1
34 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
It’s Hard
I think when we are in the worst times of our lives it seems the hardest to lift our hands and praise God. We question Him because of our circumstances. We search ourselves and come to the conclusion that we must not be worthy to lift our hands in praise to Him if He is allowing these things in our lives. So many reasons we find. There almost seems a heaviness and binding of sorts that holds us back from praising God when things are difficult.
Our Strength
The truth is that is where our strength comes from. How often have you went into service feeling sick or in pain and it was all you could do to get there but once the spirit of praise and worship came into the house not only did those things lift off of you, but you forgot about them for a moment? It’s happened to me more times than I can count and yet I always forget it happens.
Power In Praise
There is power in our praise. When we praise God, we are pushing aside all of the things, all of the distractions and giving God His due glory no matter what is happening. Our lives might seem a mess, but God is still good! You might still be waiting for an answer to a prayer or a promise to come to pass but God is still good!!
It’s About Him!
The joy of the Lord is our strength. Praising God doesn’t have anything to do with our circumstances or how we feel. It has everything to do with who He is and what He’s already done for us! If you want true peace, joy and strength praise God. Glorify Him! Raise your hands and sing of His goodness because it’s not about us. It’s about Him!

**Lord thank You for being who You are! Thank You for Your goodness and mercy and love! You are worthy of all of our praise no matter what our circumstances look like! I love you Lord and I worship You! In Jesus name I pray, Amen!!**
