Do You Remember?

Do you remember where you were in life when God called out to you? Were you in a difficult time or were you just going about your daily life when He made you realize that you needed Him? 

I remember sitting on a swing in my backyard. I had no idea what I was about to go through and while I knew things in my life weren’t exactly right and had been pretty tough the whole way, I really just thought that is how it was supposed to be for some people. 

He Never Left Me

Looking back on everything that took place after that moment when I gave myself and my life to Him, I am so thankful. Thankful that He sees all the things we can’t see. He knows what is ahead for us. I could not have gotten through those difficult times without Him. My husband’s addiction and abandonment. My father’s sickness and death. The financial problems and raising two children alone for several years. God saw all of those things ahead of me, and in the midst of all of them gave us a beautiful joyful life! 

Follow & Receive

There will be more trials in my life, I am sure. We are having a bit of one now, but I was reminded this morning that He knows everything I go through before it even comes to me. He loves us so much that He prepares us and guides us through all of it. That is if we are willing to follow Him and His way. 

Just as He sought each of us out that day, we gave our hearts and lives to Him, He will continue to we just have the responsibility to respond by receiving what He has for us. 

Is Now Your Moment?

Maybe you haven’t had a moment like that yet. Maybe right now is your moment and you feel God drawing you to Him. I can promise you that everything He has for you is good. He will never leave you. Everything that you face He will help you through and work it out for your good. I know that from personal experience. If He will do it for someone else, He will do it for you!

**Lord, thank You for loving me and never leaving me. I ask that you come into my heart. God, I believe in You! I believe You sent Your only Son to die for my sins and that He was brought back on the third day and is with You now! God, I want to trust You with my life. Please help me, Lord. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
