Count It All Joy
James 1:2-4
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
How Do You Handle It?
When we face trials in our lives, not if, but when we do, how do we look at them? Do we flip out and go into full panic mode? Do we break down and say there’s just no way out of this? Or do we thank God?
I know it probably seems silly to thank God when it seems like your whole life is currently falling apart but His word says that He will work everything out for our good. Our problem is we think we have to see what will happen in the future to be ok.
Faith
That is not how God operates. We have to have faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. What does that mean? It means that you believe God will work everything out for your good even if you can’t see it right now.
Growth
Every trial we face is an opportunity for us to grow spiritually and become closer to God. The only catch is we have to choose how we are going to handle it and which direction we will allow this thing to take us in. The choice is always ours. The thoughts we think, the words we speak and the actions we make are all our own personal choices.
Will you choose to trust God and have faith that not only does He know what is best for you and everyone else but trust that He will work it all out for your good and His glory?

**Lord thank You for seeing the things I cannot see and for always doing what is best for me even if I don’t realize it at the time. I pray and ask that You give me the strength and peace to push through to the other side of this trial because I know there will be good on the other side. Help me to be sensitive to Your spirit Lord during these times so I make the right choices and am not swayed by my emotions. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
