Colossians 3:12-15
New King James Version
12 Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; 13 bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Grace
Do we think about the grace God shows us each day when we find ourselves offended by something someone has said or done?
Life is hard and each of us fights personal battles we don’t share with anyone, no matter how close we think we are to someone, we don’t know everything.
Circumstances
Sure we shouldn’t allow what we are going through to bleed onto others, but if we were honest , we would admit that there are a lot of times when we allow the frustration of our own circumstances to control how we treat others and it isn’t usually kind.
More often than not we realize what we have done and hope they give us grace and forgiveness. A lot of times we receive it from others when we don’t realize what we have done.
Do Unto Others
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Show the grace and forgiveness you desire on a bad day. The same grace and forgiveness our Father in Heaven gives us every single day.
His word says you will know a tree by the fruit it bears. Is there kindness, mercy, grace and forgiveness on your tree?

**Lord thank You for Your mercy and forgiveness. Help me to remember when I find myself upset with others that You forgive me for my mistakes daily and that we are all a work in progress. Let these situations prompt me to pray for others instead of being offended by them. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
