He’s Got This

He’s got this

Exodus 14:14 New King James Version

14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

He Takes Over

I think one of the best parts about serving and following God is that when I am presented with a situation that seems too much for me to handle, He takes over. You’ve been there. Something so big that seems impossible. You have done all you can and racked your brain trying to figure out what to do next if there is even anything you can do.

He Never Leaves

My favorite thing about God is that He never, ever leaves and He will always help fight my battles for me no matter what they are. There may be times when I have to make some sacrifices and do things I really don’t want to do, but when It gets down to that really hard part is when He does what only He can do.

Let Go

The problem is we have a hard time letting go when we get to that hard part. We believe there is still something we can do. When we spend our time trying to do what only God can, that is when we get frustrated, angry and do or say things we normally wouldn’t. Doing those things can cause problems that take a long time to untangle.

So, what do we do? How do we make ourselves stop and recognize when we get to the point where we can no longer do anything and it’s time for God to take over?

Frustration

Frustration. When you begin to feel frustrated that is a sign you have come to the end of what you can do and tried to do what only God can do.

That is when you let go. Talk to God about where you are at, what you hope to happen and ask for His help and thank Him for doing what only He can. After that you have to do the hardest part. Sit back and trust that no matter what things look like that He is working it all out and His ways are better.

Matthew 19:26, 2 Corinthians 12:9, 1 Samuel 17:47

**Lord, thank You for never leaving me especially during difficult times. Help me to remember that I cannot do everything and to trust You with it all. I know that Your ways are better than mine and You see everything I can’t. Thank You for taking care of it all. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
