Life Happens
If you are a living human being there will always be things in this life that throw you off. Someone you love could get sick, hurt or even pass away. You could lose a job or work really hard for something only to realize you won’t be able to have it for one reason or another. There are many things that will happen to us over our lifetime because life itself is everchanging.
God Never Changes
But God never changes. He always remains the same. No matter how we view Him in light of our circumstances He is the same God now as He was when the Israelites walked across the Red Sea on dry ground. He is the same God who sent His only son to die so we might live. And He is the same God who will always love you, take care of you, show up for you and never leave you no matter the circumstances.
Choose Your Thoughts
Things may be difficult right now. That is just life. You may think that your life seems like a long string of difficult circumstances and that very well may be true, but i guarantee there are beautiful, positive things that happen to you every day and if you choose to dwell on those things a peace will be with you that is hard to ignore no matter what’s going on.
Choosing to focus on the positive side of life is not ignoring reality or pretending things aren’t really happening. It’s making the choice to choose your thoughts because your thoughts will determine how you feel and how you act.

**Lord thank You for never leaving me even in my most difficult circumstances. Help me to remember there are always good, peaceful and positive things to focus on no matter what may be going on around me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
