Tough Week

I’ll be honest this past week or so has been rough. It finally hit me the other day that it was obviously an attack from the enemy sent to distract me. Have you ever had times like those? 

While I drove down the road going over everything in my mind the Lord shifted my perspective. Suddenly the car that had problems wasn’t really that bad. While it is an inconvenience, God has provided a way for it to be fixed. 

He Makes a Way

The kitchen sink that flooded my floor and has to be completely redone is not too difficult and affordable. I could keep going down the list, but I think you get the picture. 

Not everything on that list came with a monetary bill, but there was still a God perspective that could be seen. After realizing that I wondered how often we have complete meltdowns, stress ourselves out to the point of sickness, all because we don’t take time to see His hand in every detail of every situation. 

What About You? 

What  are you going through today? Big or small God is in there somewhere. Are you looking at Him or are you looking at the situation itself? 

Romans 8:28 NKJV -28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

**Lord, thank You for opening my eyes to see that You are in the middle of everything, working for my good, even when I don’t immediately see it. Help me to fix my eyes on you no matter what is happening, so I won’t be able to be distracted by the circumstances around me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
