Turn it into Praise
James 1:2-4 New King James Version
2 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, 3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. 4 But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be [b]perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
How To Get Through
Do you want to know the best way to get through hard times? Praise. That’s right. Praising God and spending time with Him is the best way to get through a trial. Even the worst ones that seem like they will take you completely under. Praise is how you get through.
When we praise God during our circumstances, when we raise our hands and our voices to give honor and glory to the one who has total and complete control, we are taking the focus off of ourselves and off of our situation and doing what we were created to do.
Try It
Try it. Put on some praise and worship music and sing it to the Lord. Tell Him how good He is and how much you love Him. Thank Him for taking care of whatever is going on now, and for the things He has done in the past. Tell Him what He means to you. I guarantee when you do that things will begin to shift.
This does not guarantee that your circumstances will immediately change, but it will guarantee you change if your heart is in the right place.
Turn It into Praise
Are things difficult right now? Is there so much going on you just can’t handle it anymore and you don’t know what else you can do? Turn it into praise. It will change how you view your circumstances and might even move you out of God’s way so He can work in them.
Psalm 46:1, John 16:33, Matthew 11:28-30
**Lord, thank You for never leaving me during difficult times. When I begin to allow myself to be overwhelmed by my circumstances, remind me that praise and worship is how I fight. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
