Not My Problem!

Not My Problem!

Galatians 5:16-18 New King James Version

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Miserable People

Have you ever had to deal with someone who was just miserable and full of hate? What about someone who lied and schemed with every step they took, and did nothing but try to manipulate everyone around them into believing they were a good person while you stood back and saw the truth?

That is a difficult place to find yourself in. Most of us would say we refuse to be around a person like that. I know I would! What if it was a situation where you had to?

Choices

As Christians there will be times in our lives where we have to be around people like this. It’s in those times we have to make a choice. Will we choose to match their ugliness and negativity? Will we choose to start gossipping about them to others who see what we see? Or will we choose to exemplify the fruit of the Spirit?

Pay Attention

God’s word says you will know them by their fruit. If we claim to be Christians then we must be on guard in difficult circumstances as the enemy is trying every tactic to get us to publicly act out of character.

If we continually seek God and read His word regularly it will help us during these times. There are always people watching and waiting for you to fall. The enemy uses any and  everyone  to make sure people don’t believe.

Greater

Remember, He that is in you, is greater than he that is in the world. God has given you power and authority over the enemy! Prepare with prayer and walk in His word and His spirit at all times. It won’t always feel good. People will say things about you. They will whisper and point fingers. That is not your problem. That is their heart problem. Walk in the Spirit and keep your mouth closed.

**Lord thank You for the reminder that He who is in me is greater than he that is in the world!! Help me as I face difficult things and please continue to remind me of the fruit of the Spirit. I pray that people will see your light shine through me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
