Are You Happy?
Philippians 4:11-13
11 Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: 12 I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things, I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. 13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Hopes, Dreams & Goals
We spend a lot of time thinking about the things we want. What we want to be in life and the places we want to go. But have you ever just stopped and looked around at where you are in life at the moment and thought, I’m happy here?
Everyone has hopes and dreams, different goals they would like to achieve in life. Maybe you want to buy a house by the time you are 40 or have your career in a specific place by the time you are 35. Having goals and dreams isn’t wrong but never forget to appreciate where you are right now. Be happy and grateful for the season you are in.
Babies Don’t Keep
When our children are babies, we can’t wait for them to walk and talk and sleep through the night. When they are teenagers, we can’t wait for them to grow out of their moody phase and once they do, they have become adults. We look back on our time with them and might realize we spent their whole lives dreaming of a different season only to realize we didn’t stop and enjoy the one we were in right then.
Don’t let life pass you by. Like I said there’s nothing wrong with hopes and dreams and goals but don’t let it distract you from the life that is happening right now. You won’t ever have this time again.
Each season of our life is a blessing in its own way, even the tough ones. Make the choice to live in today and be thankful for it.

**Lord thank You for every season of my life. I know that my steps are ordered by You. Please help me to appreciate where I am at when I begin to allow the busyness of life distract me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
