People Won’t Like It
Everyone is not always going to want to hear what God has sent you to say. Whether you are teaching, preaching or just spreading His word in the seemingly random places He has sent you, there will be people who don’t like it.
If we could really get a hold of this scripture in our hearts, we could keep the devil from getting a foothold in our minds. Which is what he is really out to do and will use anyone he can to do it.
It’s Not You, It’s Him
It is not you personally that people reject, I mean unless you are just a really awful person. But it is the words you are speaking and from whom they come. People don’t like to feel convicted about what they say, do and feel and when the Lord has given you a message to relay no matter where it is or who it’s for it’s more than likely something that will help people see some things that need changing.
Protection
This scripture isn’t something to help you puff out your chest when you do God’s work but a word of protection. Chances are if you are allowing God to use you to spread His word you love people and want to see them change, to be encouraged and to see them grow spiritually so they can be used by God as well. When you care that much the chances of getting hurt grow quite a bit and if we are not careful, we can allow that hurt to turn into offense and then anger. With that the devil has done what he set out to do the whole time.
Say It Anyways!
Keep spreading God’s word to those who are hungry. Keep sowing seeds of hope, love, encouragement and correction wherever He sends you. Don’t worry about those who aren’t willing to listen. That is between them and God, and you are not responsible for what happens.

**Lord, thank You for using me to spread Your word to others. Help me to focus more on those who are willing to hear what You use me to say and less on those who aren’t no matter what they claim their reasons to be. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. **
